Kenneth's role in the Master Policy team focuses on risk management, working with firms, insurers and other stakeholders to identify and manage risks to both clients and the profession. He develops resources which solicitors can incorporate in their practice, as well as working to raise awareness in the profession of general and specific risk management issues through articles in the Journal and delivering presentations to individual teams, whole firms or local faculties. Alongside this he also has a full allocation of client firms and can advise on all matters regarding claims, renewal and the setting up and closing of practices.
Kenneth qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and spent seven years in private practice as a conveyancer prior to joining the Master Policy team. During this time he specialised in rural property, dealing with the full range of rural transactions and latterly specialising in renewable energy, however his experience also includes residential and commercial property of all types.
Kenneth is a council member of the WS Society and a member of the Law Society of Scotland's property and land law reform subcommittee. He is a Law Society of Scotland certified specialist in risk management and governance.
